A Mindful & Compassionate Approach to Grief

Supporting you through loss with compassion, mindfulness, and understanding

Grief changes everything. It can feel overwhelming, isolating, or even uncertain. But healing doesn’t have to feel impossible. Here, you’ll find gentle guidance, mindful tools, and practical support—so you can move forward in a way that feels right for you.

Whether you’re seeking solace in solitude or connecting with others who understand your pain, my resources are here to help you find peace as you move forward. Grieving is a deeply personal journey, and you don’t have to walk it alone.

My Approach:

I’m Yasemin Yamodo-Isler, Founder of Grief Circles and the creator of the Mindfulness, Compassion and Community for Grief™ (MCCG) framework for supporting grief and loss.

With over 10 years of experience in grief support, as 40+ years practitioner of mindfulness and compassion practices, and a mindfulness and meditation teacher and educator, certified death and grief educator and end-of-life professional, I offer a unique healing approach grounded in mindfulness and compassion. My work is designed to help you navigate your grief, find peace, and build a supportive community around you.

TURNING TOWARDS GRIEF CAN OPEN THE DOOR TO HEALING.

I believe that we need to do this Gently. Slowly. and Kindly.

I am deeply sorry for your loss.

I am glad that you found your way here.

Welcome to a community of transformation, hope and being with our grief. You are fully supported here for things as they are, as we, together, honor your grief on this journey.

Whether you are on a journey of processing and healing your own grief, or supporting others, I trust that there is something here for you. Please peruse and get in touch if you have questions about a specific offering or have another offering in mind that will be beneficial for you or your grieving community.

Wishing you ease and peace.

Healing Through Mindfulness, Compassion, and Community for Grief ™

Grief isn’t something to “fix.” It’s something to navigate with care, awareness, and the right support. My approach blends:

Mindfulness – Bringing presence to your experience, without judgment.

Compassion – Offering space for healing with warmth and understanding.

Practical Tools – Providing guidance that is clear, accessible, and adaptable.

Healing doesn’t mean “moving on.” It means learning to carry your grief in a way that feels sustainable, allowing space for both loss and life.

Sometimes I go about in pity for myself, and all the while, a great wind carries me across the sky”
